Three weeks from today I leave for a week in Jordan, you can check out the details here. Its a photography tour and in preparation I bought this little beauty this weekend. I'm afraid I will be woefully out of my league as far as photography skills are concerned, looking at the talents of the other ladies on the trip, but it is supposed to be a learning vacation. In any case I couldn't show up without a decent camera.
Today was my only opportunity to ride this week as yesterday it was raining yet again, but unfortunately Miss was off on the right hind. I decided to tack her up and see what she could do but she felt so off, even at the walk, that after a few minutes I gave up, washed the mud off her legs and put her away. My trainer was congratulating me on being able to feel that there was something wrong, that a lot of seasoned riders have no idea their horses are lame until someone tells them. I can't imagine being so oblivious to the difference in how your horse is moving...I guess I'm learning.

I'm taking my little tablet laptop so I can offload pics each night and also have email, since making a phone call on my cell from there would require taking out a second mortgage. So, I should be able to blog a little bit! But you all will be getting a huge dose of Jordan pics after I get back.

Wow! What a great opportunity. Jordan sounds so exotic and rich with photo opps. I'll look forward to seeing the fruits of your labours. Resist the urge to compare yourself to others. You have your own unique way of looking at the world and the photos you take will be perfect.
Blessings,
Carolynn
